Description

Based on the Navy Hymn, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save,” Strong to Save was premiered on February 22, 2015 by the California Band Directors Association 2015 Jr. High School Concert Band, conducted by James Mazzaferro. It was commissioned by the conductor and dedicated to his father James John Mazzaferro, who served in the US Navy during WWII.
